Welcome to Base31:: the ultimate creative collaboration multi-venue located on the site of a former WWII airbase in Picton, Ontario. Our unique space offers an evolving fusion of art, ecology, heritage, industry, and innovation, making it the perfect place for makers, creators, artisans, and entrepreneurs to work, live, make, grow, meet, and co-create.
Our venue is situated on the traditional territory of the St. Lawrence Iroquoians, Anishnaabeg, Wendat, Haudenosaunee Peoples, and Mississauga nations, and adjacent to the Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk) community of Tyendinaga. As contemporary stewards of this land, we recognize our Treaty obligation to care for the land and are grateful for the opportunity to share it with others.
Our venue offers a variety of event spaces that can accommodate more than 1000 guests.
