In addition to our 70-acre cultural destination, our site also encompasses an additional 680-acres surrounding our destination featuring runways, greenspace and historic buildings.. Originally built in 1940 as RAF Station Picton, this former WWII air training base has a rich history and stunning landscapes that make it a versatile location for television series, films and documentaries.

Did you know that as part of the larger 750-acre site, Base31 is the location of a decommissioned hospital. Closed in the early 2000s, this eerie series of buildings is an ideal location for a variety of genres, including horror, ghost stories, true crime, mystery, apocalyptic and sci-fi.
